Nowadays, reports on advanced technology are sweeping across the mass media. A large number of people are in support of the technology development for its convenience while others firmly oppose it for the heavy pressure it exerts on people.

As far as I'm concerned, the digital age will bring us more advantages than disadvantages. As high school students, we should make full use of technology. In what follows, I'll take “learning English”as an example to clarify and justify my opinions in a clear coherent and comprehensive manner.

To begin with, the advanced technology makes it possible to look up some difficult words or grammar points on the Internet, which provides convenience for both students and teachers. What's more, the explanations online always present you with detailed answers so that you don't need to worry about the accuracy.

Secondly, it is the digital age that creates “online courses”. No matter how far apart students and teachers are, they can communicate with each other fluently. The world's situation has proved this to all. During the ongoing COVID-19, students are forbidden to go to school while online courses play an important role. Compared with offline courses, the online courses offer students the function of rebroadcasting which is beneficial for further review.

Eventually, digital age has produced a new invention—Virtual Reality. I once visited a science museum and had a try on VR. In the virtual world, I was wandering in England, communicating with foreigners on my own. The VR certainly motivates us to learn English more vigorously and exposes us to an English-speaking environment more frequently.

In conclusion, though the digital age has its defects, it can bring us benefit most of the time. Therefore, I'm convinced that we can use Internet rationally, we'll surely make the most of it.
