With the rapid development of science and technology, we are entering the digital age, in which the relationship between teachers and students in traditional English learning, and the way we learn have been greaty changed. How to meet the challenges in the digital age and how to choose the appropriate learning strategies to promote our learning are the key problems faced by many high school students. I think there are three effective strategies of English learning for high school students.

Firstly, we can learn anytime or anywhere with the help of internet, like wifi and cellphone apps. The English learning apps, such as Kingsoft, Youdao, make it easy to memorize English words on mobile terminal or tablet. If some people want to practice their English listening ability, they can also take some practices strengthen the ability of self-restraint at any time or place with the help of some English learning apps, such as VOA, BBC.

Secondly, we should take advantage of the internet to learn English from foreign teachers via many websites, or even some VR applications, which aim to create an immersive context and therefore help to quickly improve our listening level. Except for our listening and oral speaking capacities, internet learning can also improve our self confidence in our learning process.

Finally, everything has two sides. Some online games and unwanted websites usually interfere with our learning, so we should inprove our self-restraint, be the master of the network and take it as the tool of our Englsih learning.

Obviously, we should have a clear plan and goal for English learning, then we can make full use of the convenience brought by the digital age, adjust our learning strategies, improve our English learning efficiency and achieve the desired results eventually.
